The point usually called "Middle boiling" is the maximum HTC value, i e the rightmost point. For better accuracy, in our approximation we have chosen to split it into two points (4 and 5 for oil, 3 and 4 for polymer), thus getting a better representation of the form of the heat transfer coefficient curve near its maximum.
Nevertheless, in much information regarding past cases, only the "Middle boiling" point is recorded. For our purposes, that point is represented as equal values (for points 4 and 5 for oil, 3 and 4 for polymer respectively). We are aware that this implies a 5% error in the maximum HTC value, but we assume that this negligible for our purposes.
